The implementation for the model was done in Mathematica. The simulation module is located in the Attachments section below. It is a Mathematica notebook, which can be downloaded here.
The user can experiment with the spread of an epidemic with different β (infection rate) and γ (recovery rate). Each simulation takes less than 10 seconds on a hyper-threading laptop.
